Walkies!
Dog walking heaven
Crail and the East Neuk of Fife are a dream destination for dog owners. Miles of coastal walks along the Fife Coastal Path, sandy beaches with rock pools, and a warm welcome at many local pubs and cafes — your dog will love it as much as you do.
A note about pets at the Honeypot
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs or other pets at the Honeypot Guesthouse. We know this is disappointing for dog owners, so we've put together this guide to help you plan your trip with alternative dog-friendly accommodation and the best walks, beaches, and pubs for your furry companion.
Best Dog Walks
Fife Coastal Path
Dogs are welcome on the entire 117-mile path. The section from Crail to Anstruther (3.5 miles) is perfect for an afternoon walk. The hourly bus service accepts dogs, making one-way walks easy.

A quieter stretch of the coastal path heading north. Open headland, spectacular views, and plenty of space for your dog to enjoy the walk.
Crail to Kellie Castle
A 19-mile cycle/walking route through farmland and past Kellie Castle National Trust gardens. Keep dogs on leads near livestock.
