Scotland's Great Trail
117 miles of stunning coastline
The Fife Coastal Path is one of Scotland's Great Trails — a 117-mile long-distance walk following the entire Fife coastline from the Forth Road Bridge in the south to the Tay Bridge in the north. The path passes through picturesque fishing villages, past dramatic cliffs, along golden beaches, and through ancient woodlands.
The majority of guests who stay at the Honeypot are walking the Fife Coastal Path. We welcome walkers from all over the world and are linked with many of the leading walking companies. Crail is a perfect stopping point — the uninterrupted sea views are just spectacular.

Cycling in Fife
The Kingdom of Fife Millennium Cycle Ways offer excellent cycling for all levels. If you are staying with us, why not explore the Crail to Kellie route of 19 miles? It takes you through lots of farmland and past Kellie Castle National Trust gardens. You can detour into Pittenweem and explore the hilly wynds and closes between its fisher houses. Or just take a wee lunch with you and stay close to Crail on two wheels — it's amazing how quickly you get around.
